Students are involved in various literary activities and competitions like Debates, Group Discussions, Quizzes, Extempore, News Reading, Shloka Chanting etc.
Activities like Solo Dance, Group Dance, Action Song, Patriotic Action Song, Skits and Street plays etc. are also organized with great zeal and enthusiasm.
To preserve our cultural and social heritage, students celebrate all major festivals at school level. This also gives them fair idea about the rituals and customs being followed by different religions. School celebrates festivals like Janmashtami, Ganesh Utsav, Navratri, Diwali, Christmas and others.
Special days like International Day against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking, World Diabetes Day, Tree Plantation Day, Children's Day, World Aids Day, Independence Day and Republic Day etc. are celebrated throughout the year to make students aware about their social responsibility and duty towards nation.
To cultivate the social and environmental awareness amongst the students regular field trips are organized to places like gardens, zoo, planetarium, railway station, hospitals, religious places, orphanage and other public places. These give students a first hand experience and improvise their understanding as well.
Picnics offer students a chance to connect with nature, explore their physical abilities, and enjoy outdoor activities in a relaxed setting. They provide valuable learning experiences, fostering curiosity and a deeper appreciation for the environment. Additionally, picnics promote social bonding, allowing students to build friendships and teamwork skills while having fun together. Ultimately, these outings combine learning and leisure, creating lasting memories for students.
Ambe School always tries to do something different providing better learning environment to the students. As we are aware, that the NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY - 2020 highlights the 6Cs, which includes an increased emphasis on co-curricular activities, critical thinking, communication, continuous review, creativity and culture, which are driven by 5Vs that include an emphasis on values, vedas, virtue, vocational education, and versatility. Therefore, complying with the NEP-2020, we have imbibed CLUB ACTIVITIES in the school curriculum for Primary Section.
